Colorado

Andy and I went to Colorado for my friend Brad's wedding the first week in October. We went out early to enjoy the beautiful scenery and do some hiking, sight seeing, exploring, etc. Here are some pics from the week (seperate post from the Wedding to follow).

Andy surprised me with a stay at a beautiful bed and breakfast in Manitou Springs. Here's Andy relaxing in the suite where Teddy Roosevelt used to stay (no joke!). The bathroom and deck, which you can't really see, had spectacular views of Pikes Peak.
Romance...surprised with flowers, chocolates and a massage!
The incredible and orante fireplace.
View from the Cog railway heading up to the top of Pikes Peak.
Andy, quite literally, on top of the world. At the summit. It was freezing!
In front of the Cog.
The view from the bottom of the Royal Gorge. Looking up at the bridge we're about to cross.Very nervous about walking across...serious fear of heights.Andy looking over the edge, over 1,000 feet down.Tour of the Coors Brewery. Home sweet home!

The kissing camels at the Garden of the Gods.
