RBC Golf Tourney

My department had a golf tournament this past week. Thanks to a co-worker, who has a 6 handicap, our team won. Here's just a glimpse at his skills...this was his drive!!!

Bowling

For those of you who don't know...bowling is happening...it's incredibly cool. Or, at least, that's what we tell ourselves. Just for kicks, we joined a bowling league (yes, that's right, a league!) with Emily and Chad. Quite the scene...80's jeans, some wrist gaurds, fashionably chic uniforms, denim shoes (those are mine courtesy of Max!), what am I missing Schulze?!?!...you get the picture.

And, Emily is very upset that competitive Tara cirlced her handicap and tried to calculate her score to see where she ended up in the standings.

Wedding Weekend Two

Last weekend we attended a wedding of our Villard friends Jim and Amanda. Here are some pics of our nephews playing games at the reception.

Habitat for Humanity

What's not safe? Tara and power tools. Regardless, they let me loose with them (not even sure of the proper terminology). Several co-workers and I volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity site build on Monday. I spent the day building stairs, which is much harder than it seems. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed being able to do something so rewarding. I wish I had the pictures from the site (hard hats, reflective vest, etc.). Unfortunately, this one will have to do.

Carlos Creek Grape Stomp

Karin, Andy and I hit up the Carlos Creek Grape Stomp last weekend while we were up North. We had a great time! The best part? Andy getting hit on...by a man!

Labor Day

Over Labor Day weekend, we had the pleasure of having our friends over and shared some food, adult beverages and lots of laughs. The little ones were quite the entertainment.
