Lots to Celebrate!!!

We had so much to celebrate tonight! Krissy turned the big 3-0!
And, we met baby Charlie for the first time! For those of you who don't know...Charlie decided to make an early arrival. He has only been home for about a week, but he celebrated his 2 month birthday today! He is such a beautiful little boy :)
Sarah fed Charlie and he ate like a champ! Our favorite little guy is getting stronger and healthier each and every day!
The Iverson's, the Kavanagh's, the Nelson's and the Dziengel's...

Chi Chi's?

While it may appear as though Emily just got off work from a shift at Chi Chi's, we were actually just out for drinks on a Thursday night. Love the two for ones :)

Have you been working out? Nice arms!

Summer of Softball

Well, it just wouldn't be summer for the Dz's without weekend after weekend of softball! Here's the gang in Eau Claire...still undefeated, until the next morning. No more 22 and 0, honey!

Baby Lexi giving Gracie her version of a "hug"! Too precious for words!!!Andy receiving a high five from Lexi after winning their game. Andy broke his finger, but he played through the pain ;)
Hot Mamas! Betsy and Jill rockin' the expectant mom look :)
Champions! The team took first place in Waverly and followed it up last weekend with another first place win in the St. Paul tournament. So proud...

Kaden Update

I can't believe how big my sweet little nephew is getting! He is such a cutie and I wish I could spend more time with him! I know my mom gives him enough hugs to make up for it :) Here are some recent pics...

On a stroll with Grandma. He loves his sunglasses and refuses to take them off!

Showing his support for the red, white and blue.

Kaden's first Czech Day Parade with Grandma and Grandpa!

Helping Grandma pick some flowers :)

Weekend BBQ

Had a great time at Becky and Nate's over the weekend!!! It's so fun to see all of the little ones. Last month, at Holly and Chad's, tucking Emma into bed was the sweetest feeling. I think there is a little rumbling of baby fever developing here!

Two Year Anniversary

Since we dropped some serious cash on our trip to Spain and Morocco, we decided to lay low on our anniversary. That said, we still had an absolutely wonderful evening! I came home from work and Andy had flowers and a glass of wine waiting for me :) We grilled steaks and had a delicious dinner. After dinner, we had the most relaxing evening just sitting and talking on the deck...it's just what we both needed after all the stress we've been under at work! The new ipod docking station we gave each other as an anniversary gift completed the perfect evening!

Father's Day

My parents came up for my mom's birthday and father's day. Emily and Chad joined us on Saturday night for Champlin Days (I now want to move!). Unfortunately, my pictures of the ladies wearing the stuffed animals didn't turn out, so I'll just post the pic of E & C...

On Saturday we enjoyed a round of golf at Shamrock. Sunday we took a stroll along the shores of Lake Minnetonka and had a nice Father's Day brunch at Sunset's. Thanks for the great weekend Mom and Dad!

Spain & Morocco

What's the conversion rate? Terrible? Well, let's take a trip to Spain and Morocco! Ha! Our timing was poor (no pun intended), but we had an amazing time on our trip! It was truely fantastic. We went to Madrid, Toledo, Sevilla, Tangier (Morocco), Granada and Barcelona. We had a few bumps along the way...missed flight, stolen camera and I nearly lost my wedding ring on the train! But nothing could put a damper on the amazing sites, experiences, adventures and all of the wonderfully romantic evenings we had. IT WAS A FABULOUS TRIP!

Andy in the bull bar...home to the cheapest beer in Madrid! Not happy about the fact our camera was stolen the night before. Perhaps it was too many drinks at the bull bar? This is the first pic with the recently purchased piece of crap back up camera. Did I mention that I was a little upset?
Outside of the Royal Palace in Madrid.
The Prado Museum...
The train station in Madrid (garden for the victims of the terrorist bombings is in the background).
One of the many oddities we found in Toledo...The Gardens of Alcazar in Sevilla.
A couple in love...or just too much sun, sangria and flamenco :)
The bullring in Sevilla.
Is it necessary to accentuate that?
Andy chillin' at the rooftop pool at our hotel in Sevilla.
You absolutely cannot believe all of the ham in this country!!!
Tangier, Morocco. Breathtaking!!!
Andy getting his rock on with the Muslims.
All I could do was laugh! Mohammed, our guide, claimed they just "happened" to be there for a photo op!
Sunrise view from our hotel room.
Outside of our hotel in Granada.
Cocktails at San Nicolas point in Granada.
Alhambra...it was so exquisite. I can't even begin to do it justice with a description!
La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
Last night in Barcelona...Sangria...pitcher number two...this is why we missed the alarm for the 4am taxi to the train station back to Madrid!

Lee's First Birthday

I can't believe our Godson is already a year old! Where has the time gone?! He is such a cutie and we enjoyed a very nice afternoon birthday celebration. We had the pleasure (truely!) of babysitting Wes, so he came along to the festivities.

Wesley and Myles had a great time playing together! Convincing Wes that Lee's gift wasn't for him is an entirely different story ;) But, he was a great helper when it came to unwrapping the gifts. All of the boys were just too cute for words!

After the b-day festivities wrapped up at David and Janelle's, we went to bring Wesley home and guess what we found??? Mrs. Giebel doing a keg stand! Way to go Kel! Who said we can't still party like we're 21?!

Twins Opener

We had a fantastic time ringing in the Twins' opener on March 30th! A special thanks to the Anderson's for organizing the festivities! Hopefully next year we won't have to walk through snow to make it to the after bar!!!

Bowling Banquet

So, we finished third from last...but we still made out with almost $300. I've since lost the money (it's in the office somewhere!). Andy had a solid finish, taking the grand prize for the best "no touch" series (I don't really know what that means - no literal interpretations!). We would love to expand our little group of friends and have more of you join us next year! It's so much fun and a very good excuse to drink beer on a boring Sunday night ;)

RWC in NYC

RWC went coastal! Jill, Kelly and I took a trip to NYC in March. We had a fantastic time and were fortunate enough to stay at an apartment my boss was leasing (beatiful!). Jill was such a trooper considering she was (is still) preggers! Since the hubbies were a little concerned about the cost of RWC (no Rascal's) we were economical (Hello Staton Island Ferry!). We hit a few of the happening spots (loved the drinks at Stanton Social!), walked until we had bloody stumps for feet and enjoyed all of the many sights NY has to offer. I particularly liked the gail force winds at the Boat House in Central Park! The tourists had taken over the city so we had to pass on a few lines (aka a five hour wait at the Empire State Building). But, we found alternatives (30 Rock) and I even took the ladies to my old stomping grounds in Brooklyn! I miss living in NYC so much, but it's great fun to come back and enjoy the city :)

I'd post some pics, but I'm still waiting for Kelly and Jill to send them to me. No rush ladies!

30...it wasn't so bad!

I had an absolutely fabulous time celebrating my 30th birthday! My parents were in town and we had some friends over for a low key get together...well at least until the incident with the stairs! It was a pleasure to start a new decade and a new chapter with such wonderful friends, and of course, my family! Love you all!

Thanks for the great t-shirt, Giebs!!! What does it say? Take your time :)

I got a rack...nice.

MN Sleep Clinic

After many months (probably years) of being tired and many instances of falling asleep during important business meetings, I decided it was time to see a doctor. They said I'd need to undergo observation, so I had the joy of being hooked up to wires, machines and monitors for 21 hours. The end result...narcolepsy! Who would have thought?! Check out the hot pics!

Six Months - Where Does the Time Go?!

I had a feeling I wouldn't be very good at maintaining a blog! The only people reading this were my parents. Since we chat pretty often, I started to think "what's the point?". So, I'm going to send out a link to some friends in order to make this worth my while.

So, what have we been up to for the last six months??? It feels like work, work and more work! I have been extremely busy, as has Andy. We've both been working 70 - 80 hours a week for longer than I care to remember! I think that it's fairly safe to say...we're on the edge of a much better horizon :)

Other than work, we've been up North, we've been to New York, we've been to Spain, we've been to Morocco and we've enjoyed lots of great times with friends and family!

I will put up some posts and pictures highlighting our adventures...
